Frequently asked questions
Does my pet need to be obedient?
No. It’s helpul if basic obedience (sit, down, stay, etc…) is obeyed to create better posing situations but this is not a necessity.
What type of pets do you photograph?
I have a love of all animals, therefore I will photograph any and all types of pets (as long as they are non venomous and legal to have).
Does my dog need to be on a leash?
Due to safety concerns all dogs must remain on leash during any outdoor session. While in a studio session they do not need to be on leash unless it assists in getting a good image.
How far out do you travel from the Lansing area?
I’m based in Lansing, MI and will travel just about any location inside of an hour from Lansing.
Can I be in the photos too?
Absolutely! There’s no better way to show the special bond we have with our furry companions than to have them by our side and on display. During our pre-session consultation we will plan the types of images you want, whether they will be of your pet only or if you will be photographed as well.
What can I expect aftrer Booking my session?
After you book your session we will have a consultation. This can be an easy phone conversation, or a simple meet and greet (bring your pet along) where we will discuss what you want from your session and all the little details to make your session a memorable event.
During the session your pets only job is to be itself, and yours will be to have fun.
Shortly after your session you will be presented with a gallery of the images from that day. From these you make your final choices on the type of wall art you want to be displayed and enjoyed for a lifetime of memories.

We offer two distinct types of pet photography sessions that are tailored to capture the beauty and essence of your beloved furry companions.
Outdoor Adventure
Outdoor Adventure
Session Fee $250 - $50 Retainer - $200 due 3 days before session date - The session usually lasts 1 to 1.5 hours, at a single location using multiple settings at that location.
The first is our Outdoor Adventure session, where we venture into picturesque natural settings to create stunning images of your pets in their element.
Whether it’s a playful romp in the park, a serene lakeside stroll, or the look of the urban life or small town, we capture the joy and energy of your pets as they explore and interact with their surroundings.
Studio Portraits
Studio Portraits
Session Fee $250 - $50 Retainer - $200 due 3 days before session date - This session will be an intimate 1 to 1.5 hour experience that will capture your pets essence in a studio setting.
The second option is our Studio Portraits session, where the session takes place in a controlled environment with professional lighting and backdrops.
This session focuses on capturing the unique personality and individuality of your pets. From regal poses to candid expressions, I aim to showcase the true essence of your furry friends in a way that is both captivating and timeless.

You will have the opportunity to review the images and choose your favorites for further editing and enhancement, and choose from a range of high-quality print options to preserve these cherished memories.
Our skilled team will ensure that the final photographs showcase the beauty, character, and essence of your pet, resulting in timeless images that will be treasured for years to come.

-Every image is carefully refined for a polished, high-quality finish.
-Unwanted leashes are seamlessly removed for a natural, leash-free look.
-Distracting elements are taken out to keep the focus on your pet.
-Colors are adjusted for a vibrant, true-to-life appearance.

High-Quality Prints: We offer a range of high-quality print options, from mounted prints, canvases, metal prints and photo albums, allowing you to display your pet’s portraits in the most stunning and lasting way.
We offer à la carte ordering allowing you to handpick the prints, canvases or albums that you desire giving you complete control over the final product.
Custom Packaging can be built upon request with discounted pricing on multiple print orders.
